Open countryside, tranquillity and space to breathe are abundantly available when you pitch your tent at South Devon Wild Camping’s idyllic location just a short drive from Mothecombe Beach and nestled between the villages of Holbeton and Newton Ferrers.
We offer you wild camping in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with sensational views across Dartmoor and sunshine all day from sunrise to sunset so feel free to bring your own BBQ or fire pit, find a nice quiet spot and enjoy!
On arrival we offer hot showers, clean loos and fresh drinking water points.
Well behaved dogs are of course welcome!
With the stunning Mothecombe Beach just a short 5 minute drive away you will be able to enjoy paddle boarding and surfing before heading to the super funky School House seafood and Tapas bar which serves delicious food all day long and their cocktails are something else...as well as weekly BBQ's and live music we are sure you will go back more than once!

Here in the South Hams you will find our campsite has no noise or light pollution so you can spend your evenings gazing up at the starry sky. With the stunning Mothecombe Beach a short 5 minute drive away you’ll be able to taste the sea air as soon as you step out of your car! Whilst setting up your tent you will then enjoy views of the breathtaking Dartmoor in the distance - the beach and moors simultaneously...how cool is that?!

South Devon Wild Camping now offers a few well-placed bell tents for anyone who wants to enjoy glamping in open countryside, with amazing views.
